First Light Children’s Center is the ONLY Sheridan center awarded these funds to provide “high quality preschool” services to eligible children and their families.

Secure your child’s spot today as positions are awarded based on the date complete application, income verification document(s), and enrollment fee are received.

Eligibility

Children must be 3 years of age by September 15th to qualify for TANF rates. Income, except from self-employment, must be gross (before any deductions, including taxes and Social Security). Income from self-employment should be net.

Application Process

Step 1: Review the Family Handbook and TANF Tuition and Fees Schedules.

Step 2: Complete and return the TANF Application Form, along with income verification document(s) and the $75 application fee. Your child’s position will not be awarded until all these have been received.

Step 3: Upon acceptance of your application, a First Light staff member will provide you with a password to access the complete Enrollment Packet. Hard copies are also available for pick up from First Light Children's Center. Please return these completed forms via email, fax or mail. You may also drop them off at the center.
