Wyoming Department of Family Services Assistance
First Light Children’s Center accepts Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS) payments towards childcare assistance.
If you are currently receiving childcare benefits through DFS and would like to attend First Light, notify your caseworker that you wish to receive benefits for First Light and specify a start date. At that time, DFS will send us a contract stating the dates of eligibility and the amount you are eligible to receive per day. First Light provides a computer check in station designated for DFS families to log their child(ren)’s attendance which is a necessary step in order to receive your benefits.
If you do not currently receive childcare assistance through DFS and would like to know if you qualify, contact (307) 672-2404, stop by the local office at 111 East Works Street, or visit the Wyoming Department of Family Service’s webite at http://dfsweb.state.wy.us/economic-assistance/index.html |
